Baby Bean!
I apologize to you my imaginary readers...it isn't cool to leave you hanging with that last announcement. We are in fact pregnant and got positive tests on March 2nd. I dug around and found the card that I gave Zack when I told him that we were pregnant with Noah...I told him the Friday before Father's Day so the card says, "Happy First Father's Day". He said that he recognized it and what it meant as soon as he saw it. We are super excited and yes it will cause some extra stress with the upcoming move...but it will be well worth it! We are also excited because our good friends, Crystal and Tony are also expecting. They told us about a week or so before we found out about our own baby bean. At this time we also thought that we were because I get the pregnancy symptoms starting on day one. My stomach was already protruding before we even had a positive test, which means that at the end of the day when my stomach is full I look about 5 months pregnant. I am not too sick and haven't lost my cookies yet...but the pregnancy is still young! I didn't have much morning sickness with Noah at all and it seems to be even less with this one And at 4 weeks I have switched over to maternity pants. It's absolutely nuts how big I've gotten so fast. Zack is sure it is twins, but he also thought this with Noah. He secretly would love to have twins...I keep jumping forward to him being out to sea and taking care of two babies! Taking care of one baby was an adventure...much less two! But we will take what God gives us happily! Our plan or rather my plan and corrupted Zack into going along was not to tell our families until we came home in June...meaning showing up being 4mths along and say...SURPRISE! However, my parents are coming to visit in 2 weeks so there goes that idea. We still would like to wait to tell everyone until I am further along...swearing my parents to secrecy. I am down to nursing once a day and the calories needed to keep up with that and being pregnant...I find myself hungry and eating a lot. Zack is trying to get back into shape with P90X and eating right and the temptation I am causing him is apparently heartbreaking...as he shoots me dirty looks every time I appear from the kitchen with a snack. It might be well worth for you all to know that during the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy with Noah...I gained 3 pounds and Zack gained 10 pounds! On the moving front, we have applied for diplomatic passports, got our move paperwork submitted, and I have finalized our last doctor appointments and getting Noah's records. The list is still long including but not limited to...getting the pregnancy doctor appointments, plane tickets, hotel reservations in Japan, making a DVD of all of our belongings as this is recommended for proof of condition, sorting our items into the things we need right away in the hotel and items that can be in storage until we have a home. Oh, so much more to do! Noah is whining and lifting up his arms to be held and that must be my cue to wrap this up. So now that I have told you imaginary readers...you must also swear your allegiance to keep this baby news under wrap...as you could very well let the cat out of the bag.
